KIYARA POLK, ma

Kiyara is a therapist and doctoral candidate in Counselor Education and Supervision with experience working with adolescents, young adults, adults, and families. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in African American Studies from Roosevelt University and my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adler University. She is currently completing my Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision at Adler University. Kiyara’s work focuses on supporting individuals through trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and life transitions using a compassionate, culturally responsive, and evidence-based approach. She believes therapy is an opportunity to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself. She strives to provide a welcoming space where clients feel empowered to navigate challenges, gain insight, and foster meaningful growth. Kiyara believes healing happens through authentic connection, curiosity, and compassion.
